This quilt design was the first of what became many to
follow. For the simple small gift of a round Turkish Tile
from my friend Gunsu Gungor, it sparked my fascination of
the deep multi-layered culture of Turkey.....enough for
me to travel there twice to teach and research and then
finally all to culminate into my first applique book "Turkish
Delights to Applique"....... This has been a wonderful
and well received class that I also teach.
