Fairie Goddess Mothers
If you "love" fairies,and love anything to do with creating, storytelling, writing, embellishments, applique/fusing and quilting, plus have an imagination that runs rampant, today is the day that "you" can become a FairieGoddessMother. What we do on this list, is take a Fairie pattern, applique or fuse her with all edges sewn down. She is basically born within our minds first. She isn't "just" any ol' fairie, she has a personality and it shows with the fabrics we choose, the embellishments and the stories we create while bringing her to life. This group was born in Nashville, TN in a DreamWatcher Fairie class that Linda M. Poole taught and before the day was done, each Fairie had a name, a personality and a story to tell, and boy oh boy...some of the stories were amazing!
The stories aren't finished and there are more fairies to be made… so if you want to join in on the fun… you're in the right place!!! If you would like a Fairie pattern to come and play, just join and our "welcome" e-fairie will supply you with one after you post your introduction! Please, "NO" spamming, flaming, talking about politics or deep religious subjects!!! But please know we are a friendly group that is supportive, nurturing, caring and willing to take the plunge on "creativity". Knowledge of applique is helpful!
