Carnation - Glue Stick Applique
Another "beauty" from Turkish Delights to Appliqué. Using Linda's glue-stick appliqué method and her in hand appliqué', you'll be astounded how simple a project can be. Linda assures that you'll remember and be able to finish this project if you haven't finished it in her class…that's how effortless it is!
Student should bring iron and ironing surface, Basic Sewing Supplies, and nice chunks of scraps for the carnations, leaves and vase.
Kit fee is $10.00.
Included in kit are:
- Full Size Carnation pattern
- 1 UHU water soluble glue-stick
- Special toothpicks
- Bias Tape for stems
- Ready-to-go Pre-drawn pattern on Freezer Paper
- Photographic Instructions
What you will need to bring:
- 22” x 22” light background fabric
- Ample sized scraps for your carnations (no need for purchasing new fat quarters)
- Thread to match your fabrics
- Paper scissors, fabric scissors
- Pencil
- Iron and Ironing surface (very important)
- Your basic sewing supplies
- Washcloth inside of baggie
