Learn to color, blend, shade, and outline and paint a whimsical dragonfly centered in a beautiful star design. Linda’s technique eliminates stitching many pieces together. Instead, create large units to paint and invisible machine applique.

 What you will need to bring: 

· Fabric and Paper Cutting Scissors

· Masking or Artist Tape

· Paper Towels

· 8.5” x 11” piece of NON-CORRUGATED smooth cardboard

· Container to fill with water

· Apron or old cloths

· Washcloth inside of plastic baggie

If you have a light box….bring it or they can be shared

All fabric should be pre-washed

Circle: 17” x 17” Light color cotton fabric

Background: 22” x 22” med or dark square of cotton fabric

Program Chairman: Irons and Ironing Boards are needed for this class.

Sewing Machinists: Be sure your sewing machine is in good working condition, free of lint buildup, and a new universal needle inserted. Open toe applique foot is essential to bring.
